Don’t Trifle, Recycle
In 2002, we recycled 65 thousand lbs of material to be repurposed into new products using our verified recycling partners. Please ensure that you recycle your Segway product through an accredited e-waste recycling facility.
Our Recommendations for Recycling Your Electric Scooter:
Donate Your Scooter: If your electric scooter is still in good condition, consider donating it to a local donation facility. Not only will you be helping someone in need, but you’ll also be extending the product’s life.
Recycle the Battery: If your scooter’s battery needs to be replaced, make sure to recycle it properly. Lithium-ion batteries can be recycled at most battery recycling centers or electronics recycling facilities.

To show our appreciation for your commitment to sustainability, we’re offering a discount code program for customers who donate their Segway Kick Scooter to their local donation facility.
1. First, unbind your product from your Segway-Ninebot app.
2. Locate the product charger and securely wrap around the scooter stem.
3. Take a photo of the product and charger.
4. Upon donating your scooter, please also ask the donation facility for a receipt.
5. Take a photo of the receipt.
6. Fill out the Segway form below and attach both photos.
7. Once your submission is reviewed by our team, we’ll send you an email with a code you can redeem for 20% off your next Segway purchase.
